Antique Resources

It was a fun day when Saul Tarasoff,
a contributor to a Wiki project called MyCityAntiquing.org,
reached out to me
asking for my help to spread the word about this Wiki project.

He said he had come across my blog
and noticed that I write about Flea Markets and Mid-Century finds.
How fun that in all the world of blogs
on this subject
that Saul would take the time
to reach out to me!

So, if I can have a small hand in making this project a success,
I am honored to help spread the word.

Take a moment to view the site

If you own an antique store,
or promote a show
and want the world to know about it,
please contribute!

The more hands that are involved,
the more thorough the site will be,
and it already a great resource!

Also, I will be selling these vintage hands
and other
curated goodies at the next
Dallas Market Center Total Home and Gift Market,
June 21-25, 2012.
I will be in the Vintage Home FINDS area with my Stash buddies.

I am busy in the studio
concocting some
One of A Kind Halloween figures.
(This is a previous work and not a self portrait, but I have found some kooky things
that will make this year's Halloween
collection pretty unique.)

Retailers, designers, showroom owners...
don't miss this new venue
at Dallas Market Center!
It is an amazing resource for vintage props, displays, fixtures,
and one of a kind recycled creations!
Come and get the FINDS
that will make your store or space
stand out from the rest!

Eclectic and Electric

And last but not least,
here are some of my other favorite Round Top spots.

 Warrenton, Zapp Hall
and the surrounding fields not only have great finds,
they are a lot of the fun!

Wow!  Rodeo Royalty was amazing!!!

And this is the first time I have discovered Sandy Schor
at Round Top!

He exhibits in a small house that is covered from floor to ceiling
and front porch in vintage jewelry findings.

Check out this vintage Chanel chain!

With findings this good,
I want to make jewelry again!

Sandy Schor also has an amazing stash of vintage jewelry!

This area of Round Top
is so eclectic.
I always wish I had more time here.

One of the highlights of this area is the Junk Gypsy company.
Because my camera cannot capure the magic,
I will take you to the pros.

 For stunning photographs
of their booth,
visit April Pizana's website.
And for more Junk Gypsy insight,
visit their blog
Make sure you see their prom photos.

Toddlers, grandmas, families, locals
driving in from all the surrounding towns...
dancing under the stars and twinkly lights,
celebrating life!

It is a night that is eclectic and electric!
